Digital Gurumantra – a district level initiative by Literacy Team was conducted between 10th August to 15th August. The objective of the event was to train 25000 teachers across the district on basic digital and IT skills. The entire management of the several skills (three skills per day) were planned through WhatsApp so as to make it convenient for the teachers to practice. Our Club participated with the active involvement of school teachers from Bhekraimata Madhyamik Vidyalaya and New English School at Phurusngi, Pune. In all fifty teachers participated in this very educative and interesting program. Teachers were trained on several skills pertaining to digital designing through light software utilities, management of mobile phones for internet operations, designing of short videos etc. In all 15 IT skills were planned over a period of 5 days. Teachers were required to undergo a small test on the acquired skills on the last day and were awarded certificates on having completed the five days training program.
